There’s been a lot of activity across Honiara the past few days as the nation has headed to the polls for the 2014 Solomon Islands general election. In the lead up to voting on the 19th November, the campaigning across the city involved much music, cheering, flag waving and bright colours. Many people also left Honiara, making the long journey to vote in their home constituencies. Check out the ABC website for more information.
Thank you to photographer Tony Bransby who has generously shared his election images with The Pineapple Post.
