You will need:
- Boiled eggs
- White vinegar
- Food colouring
1. Boil the eggs for 6-8 minutes and leave to cool.
2. Children are then to draw pictures on the eggs with crayons.
3. Fill cups with luke-warm water, a dash of vinegar and 2-3 drops of food colouring.
4. Using a spoon, lower each egg into different colours and leave them in colouring for 2-3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on cooling tray or paper towel to dry.
The eggs can be eaten after decorating. Sometimes the egg white changes colour, which is a bit festive. They can stay for weeks in the fridge, just like normal boiled eggs!
