Playdough Time Reply

Everyone loves playdough! If you’re looking for new ideas to make an old classic fancy again, why not try some playdough maths, create a stop motion film, build a playdough maze or a sculpt a spaghetti artwork?

Here’s a tried and tested recipe that will get the kids (and adults) feeling all creative.

1/2 cup salt
1 cup plain flour
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
1 cup water
1 tablespoon oil
Food colouring (a few drops of your desired colour)

Mix all together in a pot and stir over low heat until it becomes a stiff dough. Leave to cool and then store in an airtight container between plays so that it doesn’t dry out.

Thank you to Leigh Pirie for sharing this recipe.
